Job Title: Camarero/a Polivalente/ All Rounder Server (Full-Time)
Location: Capítulo at Casa Roca (Palma Old Town)
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Server & Bartender to join our front-of-house team at Capítulo, a vibrant new wine bar and café inside the stunning 1920’s Art Deco masterpiece, Casa Roca, in the historic heart of Palma.
With 1400 bottles of wine on display and over 40 local Mallorcan wines ready to be tasted, our space is designed to take our guests on a beautiful gastronomic journey. We need a dedicated hospitality professional to help us bring this experience to life.
Working on the floor and behind the bar, you will connect with both locals and international visitors. Whether you are crafting the perfect morning specialty coffee, serving a busy brunch, or guiding a guest through our interactive wine tastings to pair with our curated tapas, your attention to detail and warm service will make every guest's visit unforgettable.
What You Will Do:
Interactive Wine Experience: Act as a guide for our guests. We feature state-of-the-art Enomatic wine machines where guests pour the wines to serve themselves. You will explain how the system works, assist them if needed, and also recommend and serve our extensive selection of à la carte wines directly at the table.
Barista & Bar Duties: Prepare high-quality specialty coffees, teas, and beverages.
Table Service: Welcome guests, take orders, and provide attentive, friendly service across our breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the management, kitchen, and fellow floor staff to ensure smooth operations.
Space Maintenance: Keep the bar, dining areas, and work stations spotless, organized, and perfectly set up (mise en place).
What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
Hands-On Experience: Proven experience working as a server in Café, restaurant, or wine bar.
Languages: Fluent English and Spanish are mandatory to seamlessly serve our international and local clientele. Speaking or understanding Mallorcan/Catalan is a major plus!
Customer-First Attitude: A warm, welcoming personality and a genuine passion for hospitality. You love interacting with people, explaining new concepts (like our QR wine system), and making guests feel at home.
Agility & Grace: The ability to thrive in a busy environment, working quickly and efficiently without losing your smile or compromising service quality.
Availability: Full-time availability. Since we are open 365 days a year, you must be flexible to work rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings), including weekends and holidays.
